What happened during Christmas time...

We had a great Christmas. The boys enjoyed opening presents and liked all gifts given by Santa and family.
We got to bake cookies for Santa, wrote a letter for him, and peeled carrots for the reindeer to eat. Despite how busy we were the few days prior to Christmas day and the day itself, we enjoyed seeing family and friends we don't see quite often, and now that part of the holidays are over, we will spend New Years with more family, my family. I can't wait to see them!

After Christmas mass we headed home to make Santa some cookies! Yum yum!

He was directing the whole process :)

And carrots for the Reindeer too!

Writing Santa a thank you letter...

Almost ready!

IRON MAN

Sword fight!

Silly goose :)

After Christmas Baby Fest!

We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and be ready now to welcome the New Year that is upon us. This year went by really fast but once again we are grateful to be where we are, be have what we have, and to be who we are....

Super hero

He is our little super hero. He saves good people from bad people and he is always there to rescue you. He is fast and invisible and he has many faces!

BEWARE YOU BANDITS!

Christmas for the boys

Joe and I went Christmas shopping for the boys Sunday afternoon. We really enjoyed going to the store, looking at all the toys and choosing the ones we think the boys will like, there are so many toys out there! But we know our little ones and we know what they would like, now we can't just wait to see their little pretty faces when they see everything Santa got them. I think we are both as excited as they will be on Christmas morning. :)

Little artist

Anthony loves all things art! He paints, colors, models clay among other things quite often, and he also asks for it if he has not done it for a few days :)  I think he will be a great artist...

David's Buckets

Every time I'm doing laundry or the laundry door is open, David goes straight to the buckets. He loves playing with them and putting things in them.

Watermelon Love

The boys LOVE LOVE fruit! They want to eat it all the time, all day long and I think they do. One of their favorites if not their favorite is watermelon! Oh my! They LOVE it! David goes crazy and starts jumping in his high chair when he sees me getting out of the refrigerator, and Anthony screams: "Yay Patilla!" Patilla a.k.a Sandia is watermelon in Spanish.

Anyway, if it was for them, that's all they would eat :)

Happy Birthday Lisa!

Today is Lisa's Birthday!

Happy Birthday sis!

Joe's older sister and my lovely sister-in-law. She is such a beautiful, sweet, happy, fun, dedicated, understanding, compassionate woman and mother. She has been an amazing part in the education, growth and care of her and her husband's two children, and she also has a great taste for house decorating and painting :)  Even though we don't see her as often as we wish we would, we love her very much and we get excited when she and her family come to town to visit.

We made a video for her  so I thought I would share with all.

That was pretty funny, wasn't it? We thought it was! Specially Anthony's reaction, hilarious! We could not stop laughing when we finished recording it. Also, notice my crazy looking hair, yea, it was bed time, and we were all in our pj's, except Joe. I think all that crazy combination and how natural everything was, made it so much better and special. And, I have to add that we could not wait until today to show it to her, so we called her last night and told her we had a surprise for her, and she loved it ! :)

Once again, Happy Birhtday sis! May God continue to shower you with many more blessings...

Jumping beans

Lately, the boys want to jump all the time, and David is learning quite fast, he is really cute trying, and Anthony says he is a Kangaroo. I caught a video of them jumping the other day while getting all the Christmas stuff out of the attic.

Sunday fire

On Sunday, we had the first fire of the season. Joe got some wood with the help of little Ant and prepared a nice cozy fire. I, on the other hand, made some Hot Chocolate Colombian style and some arepas, very cheesy arepas, yum yum! We turned off all the lights, brought the tee pee in the living room and the kids played with the flashlights. It was a perfect night for a fire, very cold and windy.
