Oh yummy ice cream!

How is your day going so far?

Today is gorgeous and it's even more special because my mom will be in town for a couple of days. I LOVE when I see her. She and I have a ver good relationship and I just simply adore her!

We had a very fun and relaxed weekend. A combination of both I would say. Our weekend began with a visit to our Granddad, Grandpa's and Joe's place of work. We try to go and visit at least once a week, so for a while now, I had been trying to remind my self to take some pictures while they are there to have as special memories. This day Granddad Charlie was the only one there, so we only got pictures with him.

Here they are invading his office as usual :) And see those paintings on the wall? The boys made those.

On these next, D was tickling Granddad and A was reading/playing a spy and find super hero book :)

Aren't those sweet? We love Granddad Charlie and spending time with him is one of our favorite things to do during the week.

On another note, I began and finished my very first embroidery project, and I really enjoyed doing it. I've been thinking of more things to create and can't wait to start another one!

Let me show you...

What do you think?

I like it :)

As always, we like to go to the park.

Yesterday, we went to have some ice cream and walked around campus. We took the boys to see the statues of the coaches and showed them the stadium.

David thinks it's comfortable for Joe to hold on to his dad's ears while he holds him :)

They were following Cougar prints!

Ok, so that's it. Now I'm off to enjoy these couple of days with my momma. I couldn't be happier.

What I see when I jog

Some times the most simple and overseen things get my attention and I like taking pictures of them. Simplicity is beautiful I must say...

All images were taken with my phone.

Weekening. Yes we are half way thru the week.

Oh my, it's half way through the week and I couldn't make myself write about the weekend. Oh well...

We had a relaxing weekend, kinda. There were two big highlights of this weekend, the first one was that I was finally able to Skype with my dad  ! I've had an account for maybe 6 months already and it never occurred to me to ask my dad to meet and chat. But we finally did and it was AWESOME! Here he is providing some entertainment for the boys :)

On Saturday we celebrated my mother-in-law's and brother-in-law's birthday at our house. We had an informal and relaxing night with pizza and a HUGE cookie sheet :)

What else, mmmm these are some pics from my phone. Our original computer crashed and I'm having a hard time learning the ways of the Mac. Some how my pics get lost among other documents and it takes for ever to find them and upload them and blah blah blah.

I'm happy because I got new pots. The ones we got from our wedding are not safe to use anymore, and by that I mean, the Teflon (the black inside them) has been coming off and mixing with our food. So I decided to stop feeding us poison and got the a few new ones. My mom got me one for Christmas and I loved it so much that I had to get its friends :)

The boys created a pretty cool reading fort with some of their toy baskets. They kept going in and out to get books, and when I offered my help they said they wanted to do it by themselves. Who knew?!

This was one of my favorite moments of the weekend. Joe reading to the boys.

The boys and I played with the photo booth. I think I was more excited than they were ha!

Remember that one of my New Year Resolutions was to exercise more consistently? Well, guess what? I have. And I get more motivated each day. I've been going jogging and doing the videos that have been collecting dust at home. I am sore, but I feel good. Yes, I hope I continue to do it.

Little D and I have been trying to be busy. We do something every day and he loves it. The house can wait right? Yes, it can!

Well, I think that was it for the weekend.

I hope you are all having a great week, best energies to all!

Nothing can stop us from having fun...

...NOT EVEN THE WEATHER!

The day this pictures were taken, it was cold, very cold. But they still had fun.

On this next picture, I took a quick shot and then I took off running after seeing my little one climbing up. We are still working on that climbing/balance thing...

The weather is gotten better, not so cold that is. We'll see how long it will last. To be January it's still pretty nice, some days it doesn't feel like winter. I guess that's a good thing.

Have a good weekend!

Marshmallows, sticks and dancing

D hasn't been feeling very well, but he got some rest and seemed kinda bored so we got some modelying clay, marshmallows and sticks and began to build things.

I helped them build a house

Then it quickly turned into a campfire. Anthony added the fire

And David added the stones for around the fire

I guess they've spent enough time helping their daddy build a camp fire that they already know what it needs :)

And while we were doing this, we listened to Pandora, Toddler station (like we do often and I mentioned on a previous post ) and one of their favorites songs came on and look what they ended up doing ! ...Dancing :)

These two a some cool dudes!
