Deck The Halls

Ok, so the Holidays are shaping up around the house. The boys and I have already done a lot of the Christmas decoration, all we need now is to get the tree. We like to get a real tree, and we've been doing it for years now. Last year though, Joe found a tree that could be replanted once we were done using it. This year we plan on doing the same thing, and we also think that we can add a little tag or sign indicating the year that came to our house and spend the holidays with us :)

That being said, we have also started doing the Elf on the Shelf that Diane a.k.a. Nana got for the boys. Many of you may know what is about, but for those who don't, it's a little game about a little elf that comes visiting everyday and checks if the kids are being good. At night he goes back to the North Pole, and reports to Santa the good and the bad he saw throughout the day. The elf cannot be touched or it will loose its magic! Also, he needs to be named as soon as he arrives the house, and the name Anthony gave our little elf' is Duendecito, Spanish for little elf.  Everyday, the elf is found in different parts of the house, yesterday he was in the kitchen chandelier and today he is at the top of one of the picture frame against the fireplace. Anthony and David enjoy looking around the house trying to find the new spot where Duendecito is.

Isn't he cute? We hope everybody is staring to feel the Christmas Spirit and if not, we understand because this time of year has come back incredibly fast! We've just getting in the mood with the decorations, Duendecito, holidays candles smell etc....

Have a great weekend!
